Returns
We can gift wrap your item for $4.00 – a card can also be included for $3.95
All pieces are checked before they go out for flaws.
In the rare event that you do receive a faulty item we will exchange, replace, repair or refund any faulty items.
If you receive a flawed item please email us first with the details. Please notify us within seven days of receipt of faulty goods. You must return in original packaging with proof of purchase.
Shipping charges for faulty returns will be refunded. Shipping charges for all other returns are at your expense.
We do not offer a refund for ‘change of mind items’, you may exchange the item for something else. It must not be worn or used before you return it and be in original condition with tags attached, with proof of purchase. Please return within 14 days. Please email us first if you have anything to return.
We can exchange or credit any item which is the wrong size, please email to advise and return within 14 days NZ customers and 30 days overseas.
If we are unable to replace with a different size you may exchange for any other item that is the same or greater value, if you choose a greater value item you will pay the difference in price.
Shipping
- Post and packing within NZ Flat rate $7.50 via NZ courier
- Orders over $250.00 – FREE shipping within NZ – this excludes large artworks.
Your signature and ID will be required upon delivery. The parcel can be delivered to your home or work. To ensure you are available to collect your purchase when it is delivered, we recommend that you enter your daytime or business address for your shipping address. Delivery takes 3-7 working days, depending on where you live. Please remember that during very busy times, delivery may take longer and any delays in the postal service are out of our control. Should there be a delay in dispatching your order we will contact you immediately to advise you of the reason for the delay.
Shipping outside of New Zealand please email us first with order and we will send you an email with shipping costs.
The delivery time for international orders can take extra 7-20 working days, depending on where you live.
Items in your order may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country (“Import Fees”). The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all Import Fees.
We may modify the Terms & Conditions or shipping costs from time to time. Please read them and check back often. Any changes made after you have placed an order will not affect that order unless we are required to make the change by law.
Delivery and Insurance
The Paua Room insures each purchase during the time it is in transit until it is delivered to your specified delivery address. We require a signature for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you for delivery purposes (for example as a gift) then you accept that evidence of a signature by them (or at that delivery address) is evidence of delivery and fulfilment by The Paua Room, and transfer of responsibility in the same way.
Please note that we aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours, or 48 hours during sale periods. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. The Paua Room is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes.
The Paua Room is not liable for any pictorial, graphical or typographical inaccuracies on their website. All product specifications including dimensions are subject to change without notice.
